Our Story

You could say that tyres run in our blood.

Our founder, Kanson Toh, is the third generation to be in the industry after his father and grandfather. As the youngest generation in a family-run business, Kanson developed a different direction for the business, which is about aligning the business to current economic demands. In line with that, we have partnered up with multiple vendors nationwide, as well as internationally. Our main partner is Michelin, a renowned premium tyre brand worldwide. As a top-tier brand, Michelin in constantly improving its products with new technologies, at the same time providing reliable after-sale consulting services to fleets as well. With this partnership, we now offer a premium bundle, which includes a premium product, premium after-sale services on operations and a direct consulting support system from Michelin HQ.

Today, we are well over 10 years old, and have a team of specialists and tyre fitters to help you out with all your tyre needs. With knowledge, experience and passion that runs generations-deep, we aspire nothing but to provide you with tyre servicing on a silver platter.

LAUNCH OF KEAN LEE HIN TYRE BY FOUNDER'S GRANDFATHER

Back in the early 1970s, Kanson’s grandfather set up his small tyre business, Kean Lee Hin Tyre. Perseverance and determination led to gradual expansion of the business, which saw more branches opening, all still operating under the same name and co-owned by Kanson’s father and uncles.

Since he was a child, Kanson knew that one day he too, would join the industry, and joined his father’s company when he was 20 years old. After 5 years of experience, Kanson decided to branch out on his own, and thus Kanson Tyre Sdn Bhd was born.
